The Perfect Prep made preparing formula feeds much quicker and easier for us, particularly during night feeds or when our baby was already hungry. Once it was set up, we could add the measured formula to a sterilised bottle and use the machine’s hot-shot and filtered-water cycle to prepare a body-temperature feed. The one-touch feed sizes, quiet dispenser and soft lighting were particularly useful at night. It does need regular cleaning and replacement filters, so following the maintenance instructions is important.

What to know

- The NHS says water must be at least 70°C when it contacts the formula powder
